Have you undertaken any kind of further study since leaving Bedales and have you gained any further qualifications?
I studied Modern History and Politics at Wadham College, Oxford. I greatly enjoyed reading books in beautiful old libraries and thought another year of academic life was necessary so I got myself an MSc in International Public Policy from University College London (UCL).
What kind of work are you currently involved in, and how and why have you come to be doing it?
I work in the Children's Services department of a local authority in London. I became a council officer through undertaking a graduate scheme for local government.
Did attending Bedales help you in getting to where you are now and how satisfied are you with what you are doing?
My time at Bedales has put me in good stead and I’m indeed satisfied with what I'm doing. Challenging but rewarding, as the cliché goes.
Have you been involved in any other interesting activities or occupations since leaving school?
I enjoyed my time running Oxford University Labour Club and setting up Oxford Secular Society and I’m a school governor at a primary school in Islington.
