Bedales at Hickstead's showjumping championships 2011

The Bedales team of Leonie Bryant, 18 (Topper Two), Jemima Roblin, 15 (Mr Blue Sky) and Tabby Taylor, 15 (Sammies Son) put on a good performance at their first ever Schools' Championship in very wet, windy and muddy conditions on Thursday 4 August. A total of 68 teams competed on the day and Bedales riders and horses did well to negotiate the very muddy conditions around each fence. The team finished on a total of 16 faults so just missed out on a place in the final but all enjoyed the day and are now looking forward to competing for Bedales at future events in the NSEA series.
