This week the Olivier Theatre hosted Shockheaded Peter. Directed by Phil King, designed by Joanne Greenwood and with music arranged by Neil Hornsby, the theatre became alight with uncanny and humorous tales conjured by German playwright Heinrich Hoffmann. The twisted comedy in these short stories was enough to have the audience in hysterics. The cast comprised students from all Blocks at the Senior School as well as talented musicians and technicians. A highlight of the play was the use of gymnastic skills including hula-hooping and stilts. With many stand-out performances, the play received a plethora of laughs and an overall outstanding reception. The entire cast and crew put on a powerful and memorable production.
