Supporting Individual Needs
Dunhurst has a reputation for nurturing individuals and supporting their needs. Together with a pro-active Learning Support Department, the tutoring system offers top quality support, academically and pastorally.
Pupils meet with their tutors daily as well as on a weekly 1:1 basis throughout the term.
Staff hold regular discussions on whole year groups at which the social and academic progress of each child is considered. These dates will be published in the school calendar. Parents will receive feedback from these meetings by post the following week.
Parents Evenings take place regularly through the year.
In addition to the above, Dunhurst operates an Open Door policy and parents are welcome to discuss any issues or concerns on a day to day basis.
