Fundraising & Development
Bedales was founded in 1893 by John H Badley to educate the ‘head, hand and heart’. Over the past 100 years, the school has evolved and developed – assisted by the generous support of Old Bedalians, parents and others – and the school’s founding principles and spirit still remain very much at its core.
The Bedales Schools Development Trust has been established to focus on the school’s fundraising priorities and is actively seeking support for two very important causes:
The John Badley Foundation is an ambitious scheme to provide bursaries to talented children regardless of financial circumstances who would benefit from a Bedales education . This scheme would broaden access to the school and enrich the school community. For more information on how you can support the John Badley Foundation please click here.
The Capital Projects scheme is designed to fund new buildings on the Bedales estate across all three schools and bring forward the delivery dates for each of these projects through donations. To find out how you can support these projects please click here.
