About Bedales
Great South Run
A team of staff and parents ran in the challenging Great South Run (10 miles) on 25 October 2009 to raise funds for the Bedales Swaziland Project.
Following success by some of our runners in the 2009 Butser Hill Challenge (where we won the school staff team event) a team of eight staff and parents from Bedales and Dunhurst braved the unseasonably warm but windy conditions to join the 21,000 runners for the Great South Run in Portsmouth. The final two miles directly into the wind proved tough, but we all made it to the finish line, and were presented with well-earned medals and T shirts!
