Karate activity at Bedales
Former England squad member Simon Budden has taught at Bedales for many years, running the karate activity weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays. Simon is very passionate about this ancient form of martial arts and runs his own Karate Academy (www.htka.co.uk) alongside teaching children and adults at all levels, including army regiments. Simon has seen many students progress through the levels, including 6.2 student Frank Macpherson who he started teaching when Frank was a beginner in Block 3. Frank is now aiming to achieve his black belt once his exams have finished.
