Over the years Bedales has benefited from significant legacies that have supported the school’s growth and development. The school has established a legacy society – known as the John Haden Badley Society – for those who have mentioned Bedales in their will.
A number of Old Bedalians have made a bequest to Bedales. We hope that others will now consider following their lead. Bedales is always grateful for income from legacies, which can be put to good use towards bursaries or future building projects.
Please remember that bequests to a charity such as Bedales are free of Inheritance Tax, which makes them an efficient means of supporting the School.
In order to make a bequest to Bedales, which need involve only a simple Codicil to your Will, we are sure you will wish to consult your solicitor.
Those who leave a bequest to Bedales will be invited to join the Badley Society, whose members meet annually for dinner with the Head of Bedales.
