Bedales begins term with hat-trick of wins

Bedales students got the term off to a good start in recent sporting fixtures with a hat-trick of victories in tennis, football and hockey. The U15 girls’ tennis team beat St Swithuns in the tennis Aegon cup final (Georgie Deane (C), Lizzie Reynolds, Freya Deane and Emilie Coste).The U15 football team beat Meoncross  5-0; captained by Raff Law the boys worked very well together to secure victory. The goalscorers were Raff (x 2), Leo AC, Gabriel Curry and Jack Shannon. The U15 girls’ hockey team beat Frensham Heights 4-0, which was a great start to the season for the girls who all put in a very strong effort ably captained by Ellie Catton.

At Dunhurst, Bedales Junior School, the term also started very well with several wins including: U9 A team football beat Prebendal 5-0; U9 B team football beat Prebendal 6-0; U13 A team football beat Frensham 8-0; U12 A team netball beat St. Swithuns 17-7 and the U13 A team netball beat St. Withuns 11-9.
