Bedales Girls Triumph at Netball Tournament

Bedales U14 Girls' Netball team is celebrating following victory at a tournament competing against schools across Hampshire and Wiltshire on Saturday. Bedales were the victors of every match with each game culminating in a high scoring performance. The team players were: Phoebe Landers (GA and captain), Ellie Catton (GS), Maya Wilson (WA), Lily Wetherill (C), Tor-tor Burnell (WD), Chloe Green (GD), Vita Paxman (GK) along with Emily Blackley Jo Jo Moseley and Lili Bidwell.
Commenting on the match, Helen Retter, Head of Girls’ Sport said, “I am very proud of our team’s efforts and success as they all worked hard playing with skill and determination. To win the trophy was a fitting tribute to the team who have worked hard all term and have not lost a match or a tournament game. It was a fantastic day with happy parents who have supported us throughout the season.”
Netball success continued at Bedales Junior School, Dunhurst, with a victory for the School’s U11A Netball team against Highfield school, beating them 11-10.
