Bedales Rock Show Ticket Update

05/03/2009

The Bedales Rock Show takes place on 23 and 24 April.

We have a number of tickets available for the Thursday 23 April performance. If you would like to apply for up to two tickets for your family, please send an email (or ask your child to send an email) to tickets@bedales.org.uk, stating whether you would like one or two tickets. If the demand exceeds the supply then the tickets will be allocated randomly among the applicants, to ensure that everyone has had an equal chance. Booking will close at 1pm on Friday 27 March. Email acknowledgements, confirming your booking or otherwise, will be sent by the end of term.

Due to the success of the show it is inevitable that demand for tickets will exceed supply. Given that we will be giving priority to performers and Bedalians the following principles apply to ticketing this year:

Tranche 1: Two tickets per performer including the core backstage/technical crew

Tranche 2: Other Bedales students (one per person)

Tranche 3: Bedales staff (one per person)

Tranche 4: By invitation to Dunhurst musicians

Tranche 5: General distribution – from 25 March 2009

This new procedure will no doubt leave some people who want them without a ticket, but it is hoped that the school's wish to prioritise Bedales students is understood. A DVD will be available for purchase after the event, and video highlights will also be published on the Bedales website.
