Bedales Schools strengthen links with Petersfield Youth Theatre

Bedales is pleased to announce that it is now a corporate patron of Petersfield Youth Theatre, joining other local businesses such as Focard Photography, One Tree Books and The Paul Martin Design Company.
Head of Bedales Schools, Keith Budge, said:
'We are delighted to support Petersfield Youth Theatre in providing such life-enhancing, educational opportunities for young people. Bedales' long-standing reputation, first-class facilities for the performing arts and hosting of PYT over recent years mean we are natural partners with this tremendous organization.'
As well as providing quality rehearsal space, Bedales will be the venue for PYT’s Easter Project which is, as always, open to non-members.
The Easter Project is now in its twelfth year and this year’s show, 'Treading the Boards', will challenge children Year 1 to 11 to produce a piece of musical theatre with a live band in just four days (6 - 9 April) to perform to family and friends. Visiting theatre professionals will work and perform with the youngsters to create a vibrant atmosphere and give many children their first experience of performing.
