Dunhurst wins in Netball, Rugby and Hockey
Dunhurst, Bedales Junior School, had a successful week on the netball court when the Under 11s played against Prebendal School and won 24-1. In Rugby the Under 12 Rugby Sevens performed incredibly well with a very convincing win. The U11A Girls team played hockey against St. Ives School and won 11-1, which was a fantastic victory over strong opponents. The U13 Girls hockey team followed suit beating Ditcham Park 2-0. Commenting on the matches, Rachel Hearnshaw, Dunhurst’s Head of Sport said: “Our teams continue to secure great results and this first half of the spring term has seen some excellent and well deserved performances – all the training is paying off.”
Dunhurst also took 50 competitors to Highfield for a large cross country event. All the runners enjoyed the mud and completed the course with a smile on their face. Congratulations to Pippa Lock for finishing 8th out of 100 runners and Rosie Geaves 20th, Hetty Wraight 15th and Archie Gibbon 18th.
