Kadian Harding 29.1.98 - 25.7.12

29/07/2012

Kadian Harding, 14 year old Steep resident and student of Bedales School, was killed in a road traffic accident in Wiltshire during the summer holidays on 25 July 2012.

Keith Budge, Headmaster Bedales Schools said:

“Our school community has been deeply saddened by the news of the death of Kadian Harding in a traffic accident in Wiltshire. After just one year at the school, Kadian was already well known as an impressive contributor to school life, demonstrating inquisitiveness and an enthusiasm for learning. Kadian was a delightful young man with huge potential: he will be hugely missed.

Our thoughts are with Kadian's family."

Message from Thomas and Debora Harding:

“In light of the massive outpouring of love and support, we have had to limit primarily to the closest family members the invitations for the burial ceremony of our dearest Kadian. We will be holding a memorial event at Bedales in the early Autumn. We greatly look forward to sharing our memories of Kadian and celebrating his life on that occasion.

For those of you who will not be with us at the Sustainability Centre this Friday (3 August), please consider joining us, wherever you are, in a moment of silence at eleven am. It’s amazing and incredibly moving to see the number of hearts this young man touched.”
