Message from Keith Budge, Headmaster, Bedales Schools:

"I wanted you to know that Leo Winkley has been appointed Headmaster of St Peter’s School, York, one of the oldest Boarding and Day Schools in the country, with effect from 1 August 2010.  Although Leo will be a huge loss to the Bedales community, this promotion is richly deserved. We have been fortunate to have benefited from Leo’s insights and wisdom, most recently as Deputy Head, Bedales Schools and Managing Head of the Senior School.

Leo’s promotion demonstrates how Bedales provides an environment for staff where talent can be stimulated and flourish, enabling teachers to grow professionally. I will be advertising Leo’s post straight away, and expect to appoint a successor by the end of term."
