Bedales in SwazilandFollowing a second visit to Swaziland earlier this year, the link between Bedales Schools and Mbalenhle Community Primary School has gone from strength to strength. The Petersfield pupils raised over £11,000 to fund the installation of a perimeter fence, the purchase of an electric water pump and chalk boards, desks and chairs for the classrooms funded and built by Bedales last year.

Bedales develops link with ChinaBedales is delighted to be welcoming a group of Chinese visitors in April. The students will attend lessons and stay in the school’s boarding houses as well as visit historic sites such as Portsmouth dockyard.

Whole school takes time out for International focusSpending a week with the whole school stopping normal lessons to focus on life in Nicaragua has resulted in pupils at Dunhurst, Bedales Junior School, discovering the many differences in children's lives in the two countries, and raising over £900 for a linked school.

There's a Wolf in the Orchard!Due to the widespread destruction of forests and human encroachment of their habitat, wolf populations are on the decline. The UKWolf Conservation Trust, based in Reading, raises funds for wolf conservation projects around Europe and also promotes wolf conservation through education. These educational events include wolf walks and school visits.

Bedales Goes to Town50 musicians from Bedales School gave a concert of chamber music at St Sepulchre's church in London. The ambitious programme included the orchestral music of Bach and Handel and choral works by Sir John Tavener and Thomas Tertius Noble.
