"The Nursery is separately situated in an old barn, full of light and sunshine, a safe magical world..."
- Good Schools Guide, 2016
Immediately outside the Nursery is a separate garden and a year-round play area. Outdoor learning is embedded in the Bedales culture and is an important part of daily life for the children in the Nursery’s own garden. In addition, the children use the Dunannie school playground and sandpit, and have access to all the facilities at Bedales. The Nursery is led by an experienced team of qualified Early Years’ practitioners. Nursery children are also taught by specialist teachers in French, Music and PE.
From the EYFS, where provision is excellent, pupils are increasingly involved in their learning and make excellent progress
