Drama is taught as a subject throughout the school in the belief that it educates the whole child; in addition to studio performances in the Well, there are three major productions during the year staged at the Bedales Olivier Theatre. The children play an enormous part in shaping their plays, as they are involved in all aspects of the production, from script ideas, directing, acting, to prop making, set design and lighting.
