Dunannie was founded in 1954.

It is co-educational, for children from 3-8

Most children start Dunannie in our Nursery class.

There are 90 pupils in five year groups.

The school day is from 8.45 until 3.30 - the Nursery class is mornings only.

The classrooms occupy light, attractive, purpose-built rooms.

Each class has a teacher and a teaching assistant.

There is a superb library in the heart of the school.

There are excellent sports facilities and specialist teachers.

Regular concerts and plays are performed by the whole school.

There are extensive grounds, imaginatively landscaped with children in mind.

Parents are actively involved in many areas of school life and are encouraged to share their expertise.

Dunannie has close ties with Bedales and Dunhurst, sharing many of their wonderful facilities.

The majority of the children progress to Dunhurst and then Bedales, but others flourish with equal success elsewhere.
