In 1943, with the world at war, J.B. Priestley writes about the possibility of people living in peace. He writes from a position of hope and kindness about a wide range of people with diverse voices and opinions. All get their own voice; all speak to one another and all make their own decisions. An ensemble play where every member of the cast gets to hold their point of view and give witness to their own personal experience. A beautifully written play about our roles in different societies, our obligations to one another and our use of personal autonomy.

Directed by Benjamin Press. Ben chose to direct this piece having trained at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, an institution born from the Group Theatre: a collective of actors in New York City, who sought to arrange their lives in a more equitable manner to allow the inhabitants of 1930s New York to see the lives of their society represented truthfully on stage.
