The Stansted Players return to the Bedales Olivier Theatre with their 31st annual stage production - The Liars by Thomas Henry Jones.

Plot

A national hero is causing disturbance at a garden party by being besotted with another man’s flirtatious wife, whose fiery husband is already prepared for fisticuffs. Discovered next evening, by the husband’s brother, dining at a convenient Thames-side Inn, they hastily conjure plausible  reasons for their being together; eventually the entire cast in involved:  Oh! What a tangled web they weave when first they practise to deceive… (Sir Walter Scott)
