A recent assembly guest was Ian Rowe, the aptly named crew member of the Atlantic Odyssey Challenge. A team of six men rowed across the Atlantic in January in a mission to break the sub-30 day barrier in ocean rowing.

Bedales students aiming to take their performance work beyond school, to universities and drama schools, experienced a weekend of workshops with three world class theatre companies when they visited for a weekend of drama in the Olivier Theatre.

Harvest is a season that has always been important for Bedales, because of its farming heritage. There was a time when at about this time of year, the school would empty and everyone would take to the fields to make hay whilst the sun shone.
