Bedales welcomes Chuansha High School

Posted on 27th June 2013

Pupils and teachers from Chuansha High School, Shanghai were entertained by Bedales students with a BBQ, a walk to Poet’s Stone, exchanging cooking lessons and joining 6.1 classes. Chuansha responded with some wonderful music on the flute and singing, with informative presentations on their school and the Dragon Boat festival. Afternoon tea at Keith’s followed by croquet provided our guests with a quintessentially English view. Their teachers, Shirley and Mrs Xu, were particularly interested to observe lessons and felt students here were taught self-discipline and learned through doing and experiencing. View photos.
