Contemporary jazz visits Bedales

“One of the glories of contemporary jazz”, singer Norma Winstone joins her ECM recording partners at Bedales Jazz on 12 February. Klaus Gesing (soprano sax and bass clarinet) and Glauco Venier (piano) have been hailed as ideal foils for Winstone’s renowned artistry. Their previous album won Best Vocal CD (Academie du Jazz) and a Grammy nomination. The Bedales community gets the opportunity to hear a group whose tour itineraries include London’s Barbican, Zurich, Elmau and Basel.
