Dunannie's Spotacular fundraising

Posted on 23rd November 2016

Children at Bedales Pre-prep, Dunannie were busy fundraisers last week with two events raising money for worthy causes.

Pudsey left his money box in the capable hands of the staff and children at the school and asked parents for a donation for their car park spot in the morning, and the spotty theme continued into the afternoon when a ‘spotty disco’ and cupcake sale also raised funds for Children in Need.

Head of Dunannie, Jo Webbern said: “We danced under the spotlights and gave out spot-themed prizes; the children really grasped the essence of charity and know that the impact of their fundraising will be felt by those less fortunate.”

A Christmas Fayre held in the school library the previous day saw local craftspeople and independent business set up stall with luxury knitwear, gifts and books on sale. The Fayre raised money in aid of Unique, RNLI and Save the Children.
