New Head announced at Bedales Pre-prep

Bedales Pre-prep School, Dunannie, has announced that its new Head from September 2018 will be Victoria Homewood when Jo Webbern steps down at the end of the current academic year after eight years as Head.

Victoria is currently Head of Pre-Prep at Westbourne House School near Chichester, where she has been for four years. Her previous posts include Head of Pre-Prep at Cumnor House School and Director of Studies at Kew Green Preparatory School. She also served as a school literacy consultant and trainer. Overall she has 22 years' experience in the profession and has taught across the entire primary age range.

Victoria was educated at Goldsmiths College, University of London where she graduated with a BA Hons English with Education. She holds a National Professional Qualification for Headship and has been a school inspector since September 2009.

Keith Budge, Headmaster, Bedales Schools, commented:

“We were very impressed with Victoria’s strong affinity with the distinctive ethos of the Bedales Schools. I am very pleased that my successor, Magnus Bashaarat, will have another strong Head of Dunannie to add to what will be a highly capable leadership team.”

Victoria Homewood added:
