On Wednesday and Thursday, the 6.1 AS drama students performed two gripping pieces of theatre that certainly captivated the audience. The first was a compelling story of escaped convict Roberto Zucco, and his short life after prison, before his dramatic escape. Whether it was thrilling conversation or dynamic fighting, the performance had the perfect balance between action and comedy, making the audience hysterical at even quick comments made. The second piece was a twisted but yet again comical story of the search for contestants, for a show similar to Jeremy Kyle, named Danny Crowe. Throughout both productions it was clear to see that the audience found themselves enthralled by the energy and enthusiasm of the performers, and could clearly see the commitment given to each role.
