Have you undertaken any kind of further study since leaving Bedales and have you gained any further qualifications?

Following Bedales I studied Architecture at the University of Brighton, where I later graduated with a 1st Class degree in 2010. My dissertation was also nominated for the Presidents Medal national award.

What kind of work are you currently involved in, and how and why have you come to be doing it?

I decided not to continue with Architecture and instead found a different career in Marketing (after a brief stint in car sales). I am currently in charge of Marketing for a renowned classic car dealership called 4 Star Classics. My roles include Photography, Graphic Design, Artworking etc.

Did attending Bedales help you in getting to where you are now and how satisfied are you with what you are doing?

I have always been very grateful for my time at Bedales, and look back at the 'old days' with great fondness. I left the school with decent GSCEs and adequate A Level results, which allowed me to get into my chosen university. And while my current occupation has little to do with Architecture, I feel certain that I would not be where I am now if not for the skills gained during my time in Brighton, and certainly my time at Bedales. I think it's important to mention here also, that my best friends from school remain my best friends to this day.

Have you been involved in any other interesting activities or occupations since leaving school?

Admittedly since leaving school I have been quite boring...I haven't travelled the world or spent time in remote jungles; in fact I have always remained close to home. However...I did restore a 1964 Lambretta and become part of the mod scene in Brighton, where my lifelong interest in vintage culture really took flight. I have produced on numerous occasions photorealistic 'artist impressions' of people's homes to help them visualise their property's potential, or simply obtain planning permission. I have also discovered a love of film, and have since shot and produced several amateur automotive review shows under the name "Torque Show", together with my two older brothers. But the thing I am most proud of is my current occupation because it factors in both my love for classic cars and and my passion for design. 4 Star is a great company to work for with a huge following, and I am really proud to be a part of it.
