Old Bedalian 2006

Have you undertaken any kind of further study since leaving Bedales and have you gained any further qualifications?

After Bedales I didn't go on to university but went travelling for a year and then moved to London to start working as an actor, doing a few short courses along the way.

What kind of work are you currently involved in, and how and why have you come to be doing it?

My main work is as an actor and writer. I started writing a few things while I was at school and since then I have developed them. After a year of travelling I moved to London and did a short course, joined a casting website and have worked my way forward since then. Now I'm doing a mixture of theatre and film, although not making much money as of yet. I also do children's party entertainment and life modelling, which I just stumbled into.

Did attending Bedales help you in getting to where you are now and how satisfied are you with what you are doing?

Bedales certainly had a really excellent arts side and when I started acting I did feel I had received a certain amount of training already at school that set me up for the world. I had decided not to go to drama school and while the teaching at school was not to the same extent it certainly gave me a good ground work.

Have you been involved in any other interesting activities or occupations since leaving school?

Since school I have been involved in acting and life modelling. I have run the London Marathon and worked on a horse farm in Australia for six months.
