Step into the haunting beauty of Ophelia, a bold new re-imagining of Shakespeare’s iconic heroine through contemporary dance and physical theatre. Set against the intimate backdrop of Bedales School’s historic Library, this immersive performance re-frames Ophelia’s story not as one of madness, but of insight, resistance and reclamation.
Inspired by the works of Shakespeare, Millais and Rossetti, Ophelia delves into the inner world of a woman navigating love, control and survival. Through movement and theatricality, it sheds new light on Ophelia’s silenced voice, revealing a narrative of deep perception and feminine defiance.
