Stage Door Jonny Live: Minnie Driver in conversation with Jonathan Cake

Bedales is delighted to welcome back Old Bedalian and actor Minnie Driver for a special live recording of Stage Door Jonny. Hosted by actor Jonathan Cake, Stage Door Jonny is a podcast about theatre... and life... and life in the theatre. Jonathan has appeared in countless plays around the world and made a fair few celebrated acquaintances along the way. So it is that he’s assembled a formidable cast of actors, directors and writers to share their memories, reflections, discoveries, triumphs and disasters relating to this most alluring, mysterious and visceral of art forms.

With a wealth of experience on both stage and screen, Jonathan and Minnie bring a rich perspective to the art and craft of performance. Fresh from working together on the set of Emily in Paris, they will draw on their experiences in theatre, from Minnie’s recent West End appearance in Every Brilliant Thing to Jonathan’s Broadway role in Death of a Salesman.

Expect an open, thoughtful and entertaining conversation, with behind-the-scenes stories and plenty of surprises along the way.

The event is open to everyone, and all proceeds will go to the John Badley Foundation, helping provide transformational bursaries at Bedales.
