The Activities programme is open to all students, who can choose from a wide range of cerebral, social and physical activities under the loose banners of ‘head, hand and heart’ to further an existing interest, try something new or give back to the community. This could include progressing the various sections for the Duke of Edinburgh Award with each level - Bronze, Silver and Gold - supported by a specific teacher.

There are two timetabled activity slots, named after the school's founders:

  • Badley Time (3.10-4.10pm)
  • Powell Time (7-8.15pm)

Students have a degree of choice about which slots they use. Activities vary according to the season and student interest, and some are run by members of the Sixth Form.
