Activities & Academic Societies

Activities
From the youngest children at the Pre-prep to students in Sixth Form, our diverse activities programme provides abundant opportunities to pursue individual interests, try something new or give back to the community.

Every day at Bedales Pre-prep is an exciting opportunity for children to explore their curiosity, develop new skills and build lasting friendships in a nurturing environment.

Complementing a holistic, hands-on curriculum, after school activities allow children to participate in a range of physical and creative sessions and widen their experience. Activities are taken by specialist teachers and coaches, providing a high quality of age-appropriate teaching.

A letter is sent out to parents at the start of each term to choose activities, for which there is a termly charge.

Academic societies

Academic societies allow students to develop their interests, exchange ideas and engage in debate beyond the classroom.

From debating to poetry and everything in between, students can either join an existing society or start their own. Our student-led societies linked to inclusion perform an important role in supporting the school in educating students about diversity and inclusion; these societies include the Pride Society and Embrace Society.
