We focus on nurturing individuality, celebrating diversity and fostering connection within and across our communities. Through an inclusive and supportive learning environment, children are encouraged to take ownership of their choices and actions, recognising the impact these have on their emotional and physical wellbeing. They begin to understand their rights and responsibilities, and what it means to be a positive, contributing member of a community.
Life Skills at Pre-Prep also teaches children to face adversity with a can-do attitude. We provide them with a toolkit of strategies to help them self-regulate their emotions, build resilience and respond to challenges with optimism and creativity.
We encourage children to play an active role in school life, developing a strong sense of self-worth, confidence to take risks and the courage to embrace change. They learn to build healthy relationships through empathy, self-awareness and respect for the similarities and differences between people, beliefs and values. This is embedded in our Pre-Prep values: Be Connected, Be Compassionate, Be Creative, Be Curious and Be Courageous which together provide the foundation for how children relate to themselves, others and the world around them.
Above all, our goal is to ensure that every child thrives, growing into a confident, connected and compassionate individual, ready to take their place in the world.
