Fees
Bedales Early Years (Nursery and Reception)
For information, fees for Nursery are VAT exempt, but fees for Reception are not.
From September 2025 you may be entitled to access 30 hours of EYFS funding in the term after your child’s third birthday, until the term after they turn five years old. How much you pay will depend on your eligibility for tax free childcare. Check your entitlement here.
Early Years funding is available for Nursery children from the term after the child turns three. Parents can use up to 15 free hours of the Early Years funding during the afternoon sessions in term time only (three hours per day). The funded hours are available without any requirement to purchase any additional hours, meals or consumables.
If the 15 hours are not used at Bedales during the term, parents can use the additional funded hours at other nursery providers. In Reception, 15 hours of Early Years funding is available for children up to and including the term in which they turn five years old.
