This is the story of a creative girl who lives alone and digs into her imagination in order to not face her reality. The brilliant production produced a very funny, family-friendly, feather-referencing night out! Based on a children’s story written by our wonderful Director of Drama and Dance Phil Tattersall-King the cast devised all the scenes themselves, including a brave and engaging on-stage kiss between Hebe Bartlett and Saul Barrett. Liz Richards (Dance) and Neil Hornsby (Music) also led their teams to amazing effect. Underscored by Delilah Montagu’s beautifully talented song writing (in making the entire musical score) and musical direction of the piece and Luca Caruso’s sympathetic and engaging Jazz, this piece really soared. The tight ensemble cast took advantage of this blistering talent, supplementing their own phenomenal devising skills in order to make a unified piece.
