Bedales is delighted to open its facilities for members of the local and wider communities to learn and develop whilst experiencing something of the Bedales difference.
A range of activities, camps, courses, talks and performances are offered for children and adults, many in partnership with specialist providers.

Age: 4-15, non-residential
Activities include: Receive expert coaching from experienced tennis instructors; Improve technique, agility, and overall game strategy; Engage in fun drills, games, and friendly competitions; Develop valuable teamwork and sportsmanship skills; Make new friends who share a passion for tennis.

8 – 12 July 2024: Traditional Heritage Craft Week
Age: adults, non-residential
Bedales launches its Traditional Heritage Craft Week with courses for adults in Blacksmithing and Garden Sculpture; Willow Weaving and Basketry; and Oak Timber Framing, all led by experts in their crafts.

Bedales Tennis – Summer Camp
Under the direction of Bedales Head of Tennis Greg Read, Bedales offers regular non-residential tennis workshops in the school holidays to focus on enjoying the game and developing skills.

Petersfield Youth Theatre (PYT) and Bedales have a long-standing partnership. PYT runs non-residential holiday workshops and productions, often based at the School.

Bedales Swimming Club
The Bedales indoor heated pool is available to members of the local community who join the Bedales Swimming Club. Sessions are offered weekly.

Petersfield Hockey Club
Age: 5 - adult
Bedales is proud to make available its sand-based flood-lit Astroturf hockey pitch as the home base for Petersfield Hockey Club which fields a full range of adult, junior and mini teams. For more information, click here.
Havant and Waterlooville Swimming Club
Age: 7 - adult
Havant and Waterlooville Swimming Club is a competitive community swimming club that enables all its swimmers to participate in and enjoy the sport of swimming. Whatever your ability, including para-swimmers, they provide opportunities throughout the year for you to train and compete, both as an individual and as part of a successful swimming team. This friendly formula has worked well since the club was founded in 1991 and with it has come great success. With national, regional and county champions numbered among its membership, the club continues to go from strength to strength.
The club is friendly and welcome to all and uses the Bedales pool on Monday and Tuesday nights.
